Light Room Show began as a quiet experiment in Adeeb’s solitary living room in Lebanon—a space transformed into a stage where light became an instrument, a language, a pulse. In this intimate setting, he taught himself to play with light as others play with sound, shaping an experience that was both personal and immersive.

What started as a private ritual soon opened up—invited guests, friends, and artists were welcomed one by one to witness the evolving performance. Each visit was unique, tailored with interactive elements and accompanied by an ever-growing playlist that wandered across genres, moods, and continents.

As the light deepened, so did the connections. The project became a collaborative space—a canvas for other artists drawn to the magic of this visual dialogue. Light Room Show would eventually plant the seeds for Papers from the Citadel, a full theatre performance. It travelled across New South Wales with the Homelands Tour by SSI, found its way into Urban Stories: Enroute Sydney, and lit the stage in The Fool: New Magic by Whale Chorus in Newcastle.

What began in a single room became a world of its own.
